Who Am I?

Run down?  Tired?  Lacking in vitality?  Never feel completely well?  Long term or chronic illness?
I can help!
I am a non-judgemental naturopath and medical herbalist who doesn’t focus on taking away the things you enjoy, but does focus on realistic and practical steps you can take to support your lifestyle and help improve your health status – no matter where you’re starting from.
Treatment plans are tailored for YOU, and regular check-ups are encouraged to ensure you reach your best, and stay that way.

What is a Naturopath?

They are the ‘GPs’ of natural medicine – offering you a range of effective remedies including liquid herbs, nutritional supplements and dietary advice.
Naturopaths excel at improving your wellbeing and vitality whatever your health status, as they examine your health in detail, and set about treating you holistically to improve your overall wellbeing.  Both acute and chronic conditions can be treated successfully using these natural medicines.

What Happens During the First Consultation?

To get an accurate picture of your health status and any underlying issues, Kate will conduct an interview with you which takes between 1 and 1 ½ hours.  This covers your current health complaints, medical history, and touches on your diet, then delves into each body system including your digestive system, nervous system, cardiovascular system etc.
With this information, along with a brief iridology reading (reading the iris of the eye for signs of bodily distress), Kate can form an accurate picture of your health, and will be able to pinpoint the areas most requiring attention.
At this point you will be asked to make another appointment, free of charge, where you will be presented with a report which outlines these areas requiring attention, and a treatment plan aimed at addressing these issues, which may include the prescription of liquid herbs, nutritional supplements or Bach Flowers, along with dietary or lifestyle advice.
After the initial consultation, subsequent consultations will be much shorter, lasting only 20-30 minutes as Kate checks how you’re going with the treatment plan and makes any necessary adjustment to your prescriptions.
